Your Hibernate and Create RETREAT Hosts:
Exploring is the general theme for all of artist Kelli Sweet’s creativity as she explores color, texture, patterns or history with vintage inspired treasures. As Degrees by Kelli, her favorite mediums are jewelry, collage & painting as well as all things quilt & fabric related.
Kelli loves to connect and inspire creativity. She founded Hibernate & Create as the 31 Days of Creativity Challenge which has blossomed into a beautiful Facebook community from across the US and Canada and expanded into retreats to bring people together for dedicated creative time with friendship & food!
Tanya Horn is a mixed media artist and loves COLOR, acrylic paints & all things vintage.
She enjoys sharing her art with others through Bible Journaling classes, wine nights painting in her home and enjoys teaching at retreats.
As an artist and owner of Twisted Angel, Tanya believes that there is creativity within everyone. One of her favorite activities is visiting antique shops to seek out unique items to upcycle as home décor or new art projects.
A self-proclaimed gypsy, Tanya has lived in NE, AZ, CO, WY and currently calls Wichita, KS home – with her two rescue dogs.
Armed with a sewing machine or needle and thread, Julie Geiger creates all types of fabric wonderment including quilts, wool applique, embroidery and wool felt projects.
Captivated by all things fabric since she was a young girl, Julie is the owner of Prairie Point Junction Quilt Shop, Home of Wool Felt Central in Cozad, Nebraska.
Julie will share her magic, some embroidery stitches and inspire you to transform needle, thread, and wool felt into flowers.
We’ll see you in Kansas!
