Swaps:
For our Pause. Create. Refresh. Retreat we are hosting an Artist Trading Card Swap. Attendees are encouraged to participate as swaps are a great way to have a little treasure from everyone you meet on our weekend away.
1) Artist Trading Card swap (ATC)!
Our ATC cards will be exchanged on the first night following our welcome dinner and participants will need 20 cards. The standard size for ATCs is 3.5″ tall by 2.5″ wide, this is the standard size of many playing cards.
Creative prompts for your RETREAT ATCs:
– Bees
– Apple Blossoms
– Nature
– Things you love!

Venue:
We’ve rented the Kings River Deck House near Eureka Springs, AR. The Kings River Deck House, built in 1970 by the Houston‑based Liedtke family, was a secluded mid‑century modern retreat that once hosted prominent guests including former President George H.W. Bush. Acquired by The Nature Conservancy in 2010, the property now operates as a conservation‑focused rental, with proceeds supporting the protection of the surrounding 5,200‑acre Kings River Preserve.
All accommodations, bedrooms and bathrooms, are in a shared space.

Transportation:
Where some of our guests might find the location drivable, you can also fly & drive.
To get to Eureka Springs by plane, consider flying into the Branson Airport (BKG) located in Branson, Missouri or Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) in Bentonville, AR. Both are just a 1 hour aways with a scenic drive.
For those flying, we will utilize our Facebook group to connect you with other travelers for potential airport meet-ups to coordinate rental car and driving.
