Start your year with CREATIVITY!
This is my personal 31 day challenge to kick off the New Year.
And I am inviting you to join me on the adventure of creativity.
Please invite others, the journey is better when shared.
Simple Challenge Rules:
Daily creativity. (yes, daily)
The goal is to do something creative EVERY day in the month of January.
You define your own creativity!
Pick a creative activity that brings you joy!
It could be painting, drawing, sewing, knitting, gluing, jewelry making, photography, writing, soldering, dancing, cooking, quilting, singing, sanding, journaling, designing, baking, blogging, glass fusing, stitching, sanding, organizing, fiber dying, card making, doodling, felting, procrastinating, hammering, cleaning and more!
Your creative period must be for a minimum of 15 minutes.
I challenge you to set aside 30 minutes or better yet an hour each day.
We are all busy people and some days it might be difficult for you to squeeze in 15 minutes, but give it a try.
Post a quick photo or video of your creativity in our Hibernate & Create Facebook Group. The group will cheer you on! I will cheer you on! You will feel the creative love from all over! Honest, it’s an amazing feeling of inspiration!
Disclosure: by participating in the challenge, you are granting Hibernate & Create the ability to post your picture on our social feeds to help promote creativity! We will use first name only in our posts.
Go above and beyond and share your pictures on Instagram using the hashtag #hibernateandcreate You might win a special prizes! (hint! hint!)

To help inspire creativity, there will be a chance to win fabulous prizes from some talented & generous folks within the Hibernate & Create Facebook Group.
Prizes will either be a finished item or some supplies to help inspire your next creative project. If you would like to donate a prize, please contact Kelli at hibernatecreate@gmail.com
In donating a prize, you agree to mail your prize direct to the winner. I will connect the donor / winner via a Facebook private message for the address exchange.
Prizes are encouraged to be a minimum of $10 in value.
Prize winners are encouraged to post a picture of their fabulous prize in the group once received and to tag the prize sponsor! Show the love with a huge THANKS!
How you are entered:
Post your daily photos in the Hibernate & Create Facebook GROUP for a chance to win.
You MUST start your post with Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc.
If you do not have the “Day” + “day of the month” you will not be considered entered for that day.
Only one entry per day.
New this year . . . prize days are a mystery! So, post every day for a chance to win. And, the more prize donors we have donated, the more prizes I will draw!
Prize winners will be announced in the Facebook group.
Prizes will be mailed direct to the winner from the donor.
It is always fun to get happy mail from our fellow creatives!

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I have to create EVERYDAY?
No! You can participate as much or as little as you would like. Or, you can simply sit back and cheer others on. The intent of this challenge is simply to motivate you to be more creative in your daily life (and hopefully finish some projects!)
How do I win a prize?
You are entered into the drawing by posting in the Facebook group! And, your post MUST start “Day 1,” “Day 2,” etc. The number is the day of the month.
How will I know if I won? And how will I get my prize?
I will make a post in Facebook group announcing the winners of each prize. I will send a private message via Facebook to the winner with the prize provider to connect them for the prize to be mailed / delivered.
I’m not on Facebook – can I still participate?
Unfortunately, for this year’s challenge, we are only accepting entries submitted in the Facebook group. It makes it easier to manage and it creates a better creativity community. BUT, if you post on Instagram utilizing the tag #hibernateandcreate . . . there are also a chance for a few surprise prizes. Keep in mind, the main focus of the challenge is the participation in the Facebook group.
What happens after the challenge is over?
The group continues on encouraging each other through out the year! Keep on posting your projects, ask questions or simply browse for inspiration.
